MARCUS

Recently researchers in Brazil have designed a garment (underwear worn from umbilicus to mid thigh) made with a special fabric which they claim, when worn regularly for several weeks, can reduce the appearance of cellulite in areas under the garment. The MARCUS study is designed to test the effectiveness of this undergarment.

We are looking to recruit 80 women between the ages of 25 and 55 who have visible cellulite on their upper thighs. You will be required to wear the garment for up to 8 weeks, record your diet, and come into our private facilities at Queen’s University to have several measurements taken.

Eligibility requirements for the MARCUS research study include visible cellultie on the upper thigh when standing in a relaxed position. Please see the images below to clarify what constitutes enough cellulite. The images in the acceptable category represent the minimum amount of cellulite required to be eligible for the MARCUS study.
